Verónica

Vero’s first camera was a disposable plastic rectangle. Now her camera is black and slightly heavier. Years have gone by between these two but the need to have her camera with her everywhere she goes has not changed. She’s an advertising major that sees photography as the mean to narrate life: hers and other’s. She chose light as her creed: be it the light of her beloved candles, her crystals or the light of the sun reflecting in the ocean. Water is her refuge, swimming, diving, the quiet of the deep, finding herself there, moves her.
Her acute sensibility is the start and the end when she shoots pictures. Her loving perspective guides her on how to immortalize the moment, the emotions. This is where she feels free, behind her camera she is able to knock down fears. She firmly believes in the power of intentions; her intention is precise: to be the eye behind the memories.
